"I enjoyed being able to officiate this wedding~ These two are amazing and their children are so adorable~ This was a small but very beautiful ceremony with only their closest family and friends~ The fun and laughter during the ceremony as well as the reception was amazing~ The entire family was great~ I was so very honored to be able to bring in the brides mother who is no longer with her today~ Her Grandfather which I hadn't known at the time was able to come all the way in from New Mexico to give her away~ That was an AWESOME surprise and so very touching~ We definitely had so much fun at this wedding~ Thank you AMC for making it possible~ "

Thank you all for coming this beautiful afternoon. Today we gather, in the presence of family and friends to join Jaclyn Robertson and Thomas Hunt in marriage. We celebrate the coming together in love of this woman and this man. We remember that marriage is a time when growing love is made public, when two people share mutual promises. We join in our support of them as they offer themselves to each other. We celebrate their joy, their love and their expectations.
On behalf of the bride and groom, I would like to express thanks and gratitude to you all, and to her father who couldn't be here today and to her mother who is not here with them physically but remains with them spiritually in their hearts. The love that is shared and expressed here today is inseparably joined to the love that has created and molded their unique lives.
"You may all be seated"
Jaclyn and Thomas, the covenant in which you are about to make with each other is meant to be a beautiful and sacred expression of your love for each other. As you pledge your vows and you commit your lives to each other, we ask that you do so in all seriousness, and yet with a deep sense of joy, with deep conviction that you are committing yourselves to a dynamic growing relationship of trust, mutual support and caring love.
*Declaration of Intent*
Will you, Thomas Hunt have Jaclyn Robertson to be your wife? Will you love her, comfort and keep her, forsaking all others, remain true to her as long as you both shall live?" "I Do/Yes"
Will you, Jaclyn Robertson, have Thomas Hunt to be your husband? Will you love him, comfort and keep him, forsaking all others, remain true to him as long as you both shall live?" "I Do/Yes"
Now that you have declared your intentions, I invite you to share your vows with one another.
*Thomas, please give your vows to Jaclyn
Jaclyn, Today is one of the happiest days in my life because I get to marry my best friend. You are
one of the most important people in my life. You ground me in what’s important …
friends, family and above all else us. Your generosity serves as constant inspiration and
reminder of how lucky I am to have found you. We have spent the past 4 years learning from one another
developing patience, trust, and understanding along the way… and after today… I know
the most exciting lesson still to learn is how to be married to my best friend and partner… an adventure and experience
I can’t imagine doing with anybody else… something I will cherish for the remainder of
our lives. Wherever our journey takes us, you will always be the reason it’s worth
taking. I love you Jaclyn , my heart is forever yours.
*Jaclyn, please give your vows to Thomas
Thomas… you have been a rock when I needed to be strong, warm when I needed comfort,
and reason when I was insane. You have made me a better person than I ever knew I
could be, and you continue to make me better, and braver, and kinder, every single day.
Knowing you and loving you has been one of the greatest things I have done in my
life, and I can’t believe that I get to keep knowing you better, and loving you more, every
day for the rest of our lives. The strength of our love will be our legacy, We as a family
will always come through stronger than before, because we have taught each other how
to choose love over anger, and lean on each other when we need each other most.
Thomas, you are truly my best friend, my love and my partner for life.
My love for you only grows stronger as each day passes and will continue to grow into our aged years.
I will always be yours, today, tomorrow and always.
I would like to now invite you both to exchange a few words as you give each other your token of love.
*Ring Exchange*
Thomas, please repeat these words after me, while placing your ring on Jaclyn's left finger: "Jaclyn, As I place this ring on your finger, I commit my heart and soul to you, today and always. I ask you to wear this ring as a reminder of the vows and promises we have made here today.
Jaclyn, please repeat these words after me, while placing your ring on Thomas's left finger: "Thomas, As I place this ring on your finger, I commit my heart and soul to you, today and always. I ask you to wear this ring as a reminder of the vows and promises we have made here today.
*Reading*
Thomas and Jaclyn, please look down at the hands you are holding, as you continue your new life's journey together and will always remember that the hands you hold today will carry you through all things in life together.
These are the hands of your best friend, young and strong and full of love for you, that are holding yours on your wedding day, as you promise to love each other today, tomorrow and forever.
These are the hands that will work alongside yours, as you build your future together.
These are the hands that will passionately love you and cherish you through the years and with the slightest touch, will comfort you like no other.
These are the hands that will hold you when fear or grief fills your mind.
These are the hands that will countless times wipe the tears from your eyes, tears of sorrow and tears of joy.
These are the hands that will continue to tenderly hold your children, the hands that will join your family as one.
These are the hands that will give you strength when you need it, support and encouragement to pursue your dreams, and comfort you through difficult times.
And lastly, these are the hands that even when wrinkled and aged, will still be reaching for yours, still giving you the same unspoken tenderness with just a touch.
