"It was a great experience for me, especailly since it was my first time being a wedding officiant and it was for my daughter, Jessica. I used the resources provided and the ceremony was smooth. I hope to do more ceremonies in the future. I had a wedding ceremony script that I made up that listed every detail. The bridal party lineup, notes to prompt me to move for certain photos (so I would not be in them), prompting the bride and groom to face each other, to prompt the Maid of Honor to take the bouquet and assist the bride with her dress, etc. I think it is important to talk with the couple and what they want during the ceremony. This was the first wedding ceremony I officiated, however have been to enough to know that they all are different. Just need to be communicative and flexible."
