We are gathered together here to join Steven Michael Villafan and Taylor Marissa Bernadette Wilkin in the spiritual union of marriage.
This contract is not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously, and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. Please remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home.
Now, let us Pray
Heavenly Father we are here on this day to give thanks for the love you have shared with these two individuals. We ask that you help Steven and Taylor to always remember when they first met and to remember the strong love that grew between them. To work that love into practical things so that nothing divides them. Please help them find words both kind and loving, and hearts always ready to ask for forgiveness as well as able to forgive. Father, we put this marriage in your hands. Amen.
Now, please allow me to read from scripture.
As it says in 1 Peter 3:1-9
* Likewise, you wives should be subordinate to your husbands so that, even if some disobey the word, they may be won over without a word by their wives’ conduct when they observe your reverent and chaste behavior.
Your adornment should not be an external one: braiding the hair, wearing gold jewelry, or dressing in fine clothes, but rather the hidden character of the heart, expressed in the imperishable beauty of a gentle and calm disposition, which is precious in the sight of God.
Likewise, you husbands should live with your wives in understanding, showing honor to your wife, since we are joint heirs of the gift of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.
Finally, all of you, be of one mind, sympathetic, loving toward one another, compassionate, humble.
Do not return evil for evil, or insult for insult; but, on the contrary, a blessing, because to this you were called, that you might inherit a blessing.
—The word of the Lord
Steven and Taylor will now share their vows. Please face one another and hold hands.
*(Vows)*
And now for the ceremony vows:
Do you, Steven Michael Villafan, take this woman, Taylor Marissa Bernadette Wilkin, to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and bad, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself unto her for as long as you both shall live?
*(Wait for Confirmation)*

Steven and Taylor will now exchange rings as a symbol of their love and commitment. May we now have the rings?
*(Ring Exchange)*
The ring, an unbroken circle, represents unending love. As often as either of you look upon these rings, may you be reminded of this moment and the love you have promised to one another.
Steven, please place this ring on Taylor's finger and repeat after me.
"Taylor, I give you this ring as a symbol of my love
and that I'm choosing to share
my life's journey with you.
I give you this ring
with the pledge to love you
today, tomorrow, and always."
