INVOCATION

Welcome family and friends. Love has bought us to this day. We are gathered here today to join Jason Ferguson and Dakota Hammonds in holy matrimony. Jason and Dakota as you enter into this union always remember communication and respect work both ways. Do not hold on to anger but cling to all the good in each other and your love will find a way to surmount all the battles placed in your path.

VOWS EXCHANGE

Dakota, Today I marry the one who knows me best and whom I couldn’t be without. Just when I’m in a hole you pull me right up. We have been a team from the start. I know I’m marrying my best friend and will do all that I can to see us through.

Jason, You are my best friend and one half of team DJ. When we first meet it seemed as if I knew you for a long time. Even though you semi stalked me when we both worked at the Library of Congress. You make me laugh even when I’m upset with you and proceed to go full on hammy. I love that you will go out of your way to be helpful in my time of need. It’s amazing how resourceful you are. You’re like a black Macgver. You are my chef, bodyguard, maintenance man, mechanic, landscaper, and lover. My hope is that we continue to work as a team. I promise to continue to chase you around the house, make you laugh, be your secretary, and most of all love you. I know marrying you will only increase the joy we have come to know.
