"This wedding was for my mother and step father-in-law. The two have known each other for over 30 years. They lost their spouses, my dad in January 2017 and my mother-in-law in December 2017, and got together in 2018. It was a little odd for our families but seemed to be the next step in their lives. I was happy to officiate their wedding though I have to admit it was different because of our relationship(s)."
