•The Maid of Honor, Bridesmaids, Groomsmen and the girls enter then take their places

•Officiant: Everyone please rise (I will hand motion for all to rise)

•Shea now enters the concourse accompanied by her stepdad then at the bridge Shea will step forward to her dad (as stepdad steps back) to then be escorted to meet Baja on stage at my right

•Officiant: Who is sharing Shea today to be married to Baja?

•Bride's dad responds (then steps back to be seated

•Officiant: You may be seated (I will hand motion for all to sit down)

•Officiant: As we offer this Blessing to those gathered here today in the presence of family, friends and loved ones, to celebrate one of life's greatest moments. We are here to give recognition to the love that is shared between Shea and Robert, best known as ‘Baja’ as they complete their family in marriage as it is a contract not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously and with a deep realization of the obligations and responsibilities. This unity is comprised of dependence and independence, which are equal and mutual. You must allow each other the freedom to change and grow as individuals while, becoming more inseparable and in love with each passing day. Love isn’t just a feeling in your heart, or just a word you say every day, love is also an action it’s something you do, by showing respect, kindness and understanding and by putting the needs of the one you love before your own. May they be blessed with happiness and contentment, as their two lives become one, as they create a new family and explore the depths of their love for one another.

Who would have thought that something as simple as a friend request would lead me to this moment. From you walking up to me wearing a grey snap on hoodie and checking out my Christmas lights to now standing here with me in front of all of our loved ones and friends. You have shown me more love and patience then I could ever imagine. You have been my calm in many storms and when you wrap your arms around me I feel like I am at peace.

You have accepted me and my flaws and stood strong for me when I have not been able to. You have believed in me when no one else would, and have shown me how to love with a unconditional acceptance. I promise I will forever love you with all my heart, body and soul. To laugh in the good times and stand strong in the rough patches. To be a unbreakable force of strength and a bond that will surpass any measure of time. You will always and forever be my priority in life and love. I will respect and honor you always as my husband and best friend. You will always be the best part of my day and the reason I smile. 

I take you as my husband with every beat of my heart.

The rings please. In Corinthians, it is written: Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. Love never ends. The Ring, an unbroken, never-ending circle, is a symbol of unending love. As often as you look upon these rings, may they always be a reminder of the vows you have taken.

Your wedding day is so full of emotions, friends, pictures, food and congratulations that the day seems to fly by. I want you both to take a deep breath and look into each other’s eyes. Think about the happiness you’re feeling right now. Don’t ever forget the true love you feel in this moment because it will get you through even the toughest times in your lives. Baja and Shea have promised to one another, before this gathering, their love and commitment to each other. They have said their vows and they have given and received rings.

•By the power vested in me in the State of Kansas I now pronounce you husband and wife.

•Baja & Shea, you may kiss as the newlyweds you are.
