Welcome family and friends.

We are gathered here today to witness and celebrate the marriage of Heather and Dustin.

This is not the beginning of a new relationship but an acknowledgement of the next chapter in their lives that already exists.

Dustin and Heather: today you will not only speak a few simple words, but you will make a promise to stand by each others side through life. Today you commit to a life long bond which together you will over come any obstacle or challenge placed before you.

"Declaration of Intent"

Do you Dustin take Heather to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, to love honor and cherish, being only true to her, forsaking all others from this day forward for as long as you both shall live?

Do you Heather take Dustin to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, to love honor and cherish, being only true to him, forsaking all others from this day forward for as long as you both shall live?

"Ring Exchange"

Please present the rings. (or I'll already have them?)

The ring is an ancient symbol, so perfect and simple. It has no beginning and has no end. Your rings are precious because you wear them with love. They symbolize your commitment in marriage. As you wear them through time, they will reflect not only who you are as individuals, but also who you are as a couple.

Please turn and face each other.

Dustin, please place your ring on Heather's left finger and repeat after me:

Heather, as this ring encircles your finger... From this moment forward... So will my love forever encircle you... You will never walk alone... My heart will be your shelter... My arms will be your home... We will walk thru life as partners & best friends... I promise to do my best to love, cherish and accept you... Just the way you are... I give you my heart until the end of time... I have no greater gift to give.

Dustin place your hands palm up, Heather place your hands palm down into Dustin's holding gently. Please look down at the hands you hold.

These are the hands of your best friend, young and strong and full of love for you, that are holding yours on your wedding day, as you promise to love each other today, tomorrow, and forever.

These are the hands that will work alongside yours, as together you build your future.

These are the hands that will passionately love you and cherish you through the years, and with the slightest touch, will comfort you like no other.

These are the hands that will hold you when fear or grief fills your mind.

These are the hands that will countless times wipe the tears from your eyes; tears of sorrow, and tears of joy.

These are the hands that will continue to tenderly hold your children.

These are the hands that will help you to hold your family as one.

These are the hands that will give you strength when you need it.

And lastly, these are the hands that even when wrinkled and aged, will still be reaching for yours, still giving you the same unspoken tenderness with just a touch.

"Heart Token Unity"

Dustin and Heather: before you met, your lives were on different paths with different destinations. But love has brought you together and joined these separate paths into one. Just as you both have been given a heart shaped tokens so have each of your children today. You have each been asked to write your own wish and promises for your future happiness together. The individual hearts represents the unique personalities gathered here today as well as the unique experiences your two lives bring, joining your family into one union.

(the children) As each of you take turns placing your tokens into the jar, remember the wishes and promises you are making to yourselves, your parents and your family.

With the combining of these hearts, you have now symbolically joined your once separate lives. As the hearts have been combined with love into one jar, so now are your children joined, through you, into one.

All that was once separate is now shared, and in this sharing you both will find new strengths and joys as together you forge a new life’s path and destination.

Keep these hearts safe and may they never be shattered or broken.

May they always be a reminder to you of the bond and commitment you have made here today.

"Pronouncement"

Dustin and Heather, on behalf of all those present, and by the strength of your own love, and through the great State of Wyoming, I now pronounce you husband and wife.

Dustin, you may now finally, kiss your bride!
