Aisle Question
Who finally giveth this crazy lady to be wed to this hunk a hunk a burnin love?
Invocation
Those who are gathered here today, family and friends of this wonderful couple. We have come together to celebrate a most joyous occasion. An occasion in which, we are incredibly lucky to have been asked to witness the most important transition in a relationship between two people. This is the transition in which two people in love commit themselves to each other in word and action.
They take this step not because they need to but because they want to. They desire to publicly pledge their love for each other, and commitment to each other. Michael and Gloria, we are honored to bear witness to this transition and we know you are not taking this step lightly. Many here today have watched as your love for each other has grown and matured from the awkwardness of that first date to how incredibly perfect you are together today.

Here are some Rules for a happy marriage: 1.Never both be angry at the same time. 2. Never yell at each other unless the house is on fire. 3. If one of you has to win an argument, let it be your spouse. In this case Michael let Gloria. 4. If you have to criticize, do it lovingly. 5. Never bring up mistakes from the past. 6. Neglect the whole world rather than each other. 7. Never go to sleep with an argument unsettled. 8. At least once a day say a kind word or pay a compliment to your partner. 9. When you have done something wrong, admit it and ask for forgiveness. 10. It takes two to make a quarrel, and the one in the wrong is usually the one who does the most talking. Um Gloria”
Vows
So after them rules Michael, will you take Gloria to be your wife; will you love, honor, and cherish her, now and forevermore? Do you promise to hold Gloria's hand, listen to her needs, and do the little things that brighten her day? Do you promise to tease her, make silly jokes, and come up with new creative things that drive her crazy? Just so your whole entire face doesn’t get smacked off.
If so say "I do."
Gloria, will you take Michael to be your husband; will you love, honor, and cherish him, now and for evermore? Do you promise to hold Michael's hand, look him in the eyes, and listen to his hopes, dreams and thoughts? Do you promise to always laugh at his goofy jokes?
If so say "I do."
Ring exchange
"The ring, an unbroken circle, represents unending love. As often as either of you look upon these rings, may you be reminded of this moment and the love you have promised to one another."
As you, Michael, place this ring on Gloria's ring finger, please repeat after me: I Michael give you this ring as a reminder that I will love, honor, and cherish you, in all times and in all places. You have my heart always.
Now as you, Gloria, place this ring on Michael's ring finger, please repeat after me: I Gloria, give you this ring as a reminder that I will love, honor, and cherish you, in all times and in all places. You have my heart always.

As Maya Angelou has stated “Having courage does not mean that we are unafraid. Having courage and showing courage means we face our fears. We are able to say, I have fallen but I will get up. You will face many defeats in your life, but never let yourself be defeated.” But, if you remember this “Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope.”
Pronouncement
As we are almost there; you have just vowed your love, support and commitment to each other and in a moment we will make the pronouncement everyone has been waiting to hear. But before we do that, and while I still have everyone's attention, I want to wish you Michael and you, Gloria a wonderful life together and remind you to never take the other for granted. As you settle into married life together remember that you are stronger as pair than as separate individuals. You will make mistakes, we all do. The key is to remember the reasons why you are together, why you got married and why you love the other person. Remember these reasons; communicate with either other, have a good laugh, or cry, together, and you will be able to get through anything.
So now it is that time we all have been waiting for, by the authority vested in me by American Marriage Ministries and the state of Missouri I now pronounce you husband and wife. MMMM....Gloria you can now kiss that tall drink of water.
***KISS***
(Michael and Gloria will turn and face the audience) At the start of the ceremony you joined me in welcoming these two by their individual names; now join me in Celebrating them as a married couple Mr. and Mrs. Michael and Gloria Matlock.
