Officiated by Monica Erdmann Monohan in Wisconsin on February 17th, 2018.
"My best friends asked me to officiate at their wedding. I was so incredibly honored, and chose AMM to ordain me for this event. I personalized the ceremony to fit their personalities, and their journey to each other. The wedding ceremony was outdoors (in Wisconsin, in February), and the bride and groom planned to ride to the ceremony on their snowmobiles. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough snow on the ground for them to do this. But, about 30 minutes before the ceremony, it began to snow, and continued until about an hour after the ceremony. It was perfect!! There were a few glitches (microphone randomly stopped working, groom's mother interjected her thoughts during the ring exchange), but otherwise the ceremony went well. I thoroughly enjoyed my role in their wedding!"

Monica has not submitted any photos yet.We are gathered here today... to finally join these two crazy, perfect for each other, people in marriage. Shane and Natalie, this has been a long time coming and I am honored to be the one to have the pleasure of uniting you.
So, this is when I would normally ask whether anyone has any objections to this marriage. But, you know what? Y'all have known about this for months, and if you haven't said anything yet, too bad! It's time to keep your mouth shut!
This occasion we witness today is the destiny of two souls. There is not a force in the universe that could have kept you apart, and there is nothing you could have done to come together sooner. Each of you had to live your lives, lives that were stepping stones that have led to this moment. You fell in love by chance, but you’re here today because you’re making a choice. You are both choosing each other. You’ve chosen to be with someone who enhances you, who makes you smile, who makes you laugh every single day, and makes every day brighter. You’re making promises to each other that you intend to keep. You’re vowing to take care of each other, to stand up for one another, and find happiness in the other.
And, so I ask,
Shane, will you keep Natalie as your favorite person, laugh with her, go on adventures with her, support her through life's tough moments, be proud of her, grow old with her, and find new reasons to love her every day? If so, answer "I will."
Natalie, will you keep Shane as your favorite person, laugh with him, go on adventures with him, support him through life's tough moments, be proud of him, grow old with him, and find new reasons to love him every day? If so, answer "I will."
Will you, Shane and Natalie, be each other's partner from this day forward? Will you bring out the best in one another, share your happiest moments together, love each other absolutely, for the rest of your ride through this life on earth? If so, answer "We will."

Shane, please take Natalie's hand and repeat after me:
You are the love of my life…
You are my very best friend…
You are my one and only…
With this ring, I marry you…
And bind my life to yours…
It is a symbol of my eternal love,
My everlasting friendship…
And the promise of all tomorrows.
Natalie, please take Shane's hand and repeat after me:

You are my one and only…
With this ring, I marry you…
And bind my life to yours…
It is a symbol of my eternal love,
My everlasting friendship…
And the promise of all tomorrows.
Shane and Natalie, you have pledged your love to each other, in the company of your families and friends. And so, with great joy, and with the power vested in me by the State of Wisconsin and the internet church that ordained me while you were out test riding your new snowmobiles, I now pronounce you husband and wife. It's time to seal it with a kiss!
