"Tom's mother contacted me 1 day before the wedding, frantically trying to find an officiant for her son before he deployed to Hawaii. I was available and happy to officiate on short notice. The wedding was held in the backyard of Tom's parents' house. Tom & Kelly chose a short & sweet ceremony and Tom used his grandmother's engagement ring as Kelly's wedding ring. What a precious touch! The reception was a BBQ and we were entertained by one of the groom's friends who played guitar & sang. "
