Invocation
Good Evening. Thank you all for being here today… It is a day of celebration! It’s a day of happiness, and a day filled with love, and it is an important day for Drew and Chelsie as they have made the decision as individuals to join their lives in matrimony. We are lucky to be able to share it with them!
Who gives this woman to be married to this man?
Father of Bride will answer; Invite the guests to be seated.
Dearly Beloved and Honored Guests, we have gathered together to witness the joining of Chelsie and Drew in the spiritual union of marriage.
This union is not to be entered into lightly, but thoughtfully and seriously, and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. Please remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring marriage.
Declaration of Intent
Do you Chelsie Renee, take this man Drew Anderson, to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself unto him for as long as you both shall live? If so answer, “I do.”
Chelsie (to Drew): “I do.”

Rings
May we now have the rings, please? … These are the rings that Chelsie and Drew will wear for the rest of their lives. They will express the love that they have for one another. Let us take a moment to send our thoughts and love to Drew and Chelsie, so as they wear these rings, they will carry a little bit of us with them as well. …(short pause)…
The wedding ring is a symbol of eternity. It is an outward sign of a commitment and the spiritual bonds which unite two hearts in endless love.
Drew, as you place this ring on Chelsie’s finger, repeat these words after me:
This ring, a gift for you…, symbolizes my desire…, that you be my wife. From this day forward…, As this ring has no end…, neither shall my love for you.
Chelsie, as you place this ring on Drew’s finger, repeat these words after Me:
This ring, a gift for you…, symbolizes my desire…, that you be my husband. From this day forward…, As this ring has no end…, neither shall my love for you.
Pronouncement
Chelsie Renee and Drew Anderson, we have witnessed your giving and receiving of rings and the exchange of vows.
To make your relationship work it will take love. This is the core of your marriage and why you are here today.
It will take trust to know, that in your hearts, you truly want what is best for each other.
It will take dedication, to stay open to one another – and to learn and grow… together.
It will take faith in one another to move forward together, without knowing exactly what the future brings.
And it will take commitment to hold true to the journey you both have pledged to do on this day.
By the power vested in me by the state of Indiana, I now pronounce you husband and wife.
Drew… You may kiss your bride!
