Taylor Judge And Eddie Respess’ Wedding Wedding Ceremony Script

*(Procession)*

Beginning of Wedding Ceremony: Music and Entrance

*(Invocation)*

Thank you for joining us in celebrating the union of Taylor Dominick Judge and Eddie Lewis Respess, and the beginning of their lives together. I’ve always believed there is no greater gathering in human civilization than one's whose sole purpose is to celebrate love. Love is the force that binds us, sustains us and brings us together. It is the impetus of life's greatest joys and the creator of noble purpose.

One of the things that we want to keep in mind is that these guys aren’t business partners, or social partners, they are a loving, committed couple. This ceremony is a way of stating that clearly for all of us present. This is also an inspiring time for all of us, because in addition to the normal challenges that couples face, they had to overcome a lot of adversity and prejudice for their freedom to love. Love is what give's life meaning. Life already has its share of hardships and sorrow. Love is the force what cures our hardships, love is the force that washes away our sorrows and gives us the strength to be good in the face of adversity.

This is how Taylor described relationships to me: “Relationships take a lot of effort from both parties, the grass is greener where you water it... So if you can find someone that wants to be with you, and is willing to fight, that's all it really is. You just have to find someone who is on the same page when it comes to life. They do not have to do what you do... Actually my fiancé and I do not really share any common interests really... We have made certain things our thing"

So let’s get started.

*(Declaration of Intent)*

Do you TAYLOR take EDDIE to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, forsaking all others for as long as you both shall live?

Do you EDDIE take TAYLOR to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, forsaking all others for as long as you both shall live?

*(Ring Exchange)*

TAYLOR and EDDIE will now exchange rings to symbolize their commitment to one another. Rings are derived from humble beginnings of imperfect medal to create something striking where there once was nothing at all. The wearing of the rings is a visible, outward sign of what is promised here today and a reminder that your love for one another is there even when you are apart.

- I give you this ring

- as a symbol of my love,

- my faith in our strength together,

- and my promise to learn and grow with you

*(Pronouncement)*

By the authority vested in me by the State of North Carolina, I now pronounce you husband and husband. You may now kiss.

TAYLOR and EDDIE, along with their witnesses, will now sign the official document of marriage. It is my pleasure to present to you, for the first time as husbands Taylor and Eddie Judge.
