Officiated by Jason Wayne Herndon at Camp Helen State Park in Panama City Beach, Florida on September 17th, 2026. Witnessed by Kaitlin Herndon and Shaina Miller.
"Braden and Madison met in 2019 in Portland, Texas. They both were in High School and started dating. They continued dating each other, falling in love, and have been a couple ever since. They were engaged in June of 2025 in Panama City Beach, Florida and loved the beach so much that they also wanted to get married there. They chose Camp Helen State Park and the lodge as their venue. Braden's mother, Misty, played an important part and planned most of the wedding. Braden and Madison asked me to be the officiant and I accepted. This led me to the American Marriage Ministries. I am very thankful and now that I have officiated this wedding, I am even more excited to announce that I have decided to officiate many more. "
Dear friends and family, we are gathered here today to witness and celebrate the union of Braden and Madison. In the years that they have been together, their love for each other has grown, turning them into the couple that you see before you. Now, they are ready to spend the rest of their lives together as husband and wife.
A true marriage begins well before the wedding day and the efforts of marriage continue well beyond this ceremony. A brief moment in time and the stroke of a pen are all that’s required to create the legal bond of marriage, but it takes a lifetime of love, commitment, and compromise to make marriage durable and everlasting.
Today, you both declare your commitment to each other before family and friends
– Now, I’d like to pause for a short moment of silence to honor those that are no longer with us, but never forgotten.
Let us pray… Dear Heavenly Father, bless this couple as they give themselves to one another in this Holy bond of marriage. Guide them with patience and love, lighting their path brightly as they walk together in your Spirit. Bless this union with a love that is pristine and pure, and with a desire to live in faith that is as strong as your own. In Jesus’s name, I pray. Amen
*(Vows)*
Braden and Madison have chosen to exchange their vows to one another privately and did so earlier today. Therefore, we will be reciting traditional vows.
Braden, do you take Madison to be your wife, to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health, and forsaking all others, be faithful to her, as long as you both shall live?
*(Wait for Confirmation)*
Madison, do you take Braden to be your husband, to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, in sickness and in health, and forsaking all others, be faithful to him, as long as you both shall live?
*(Wait for Confirmation)*
*(Ring Exchange)*
The couple will now exchange rings. These rings symbolize the never-ending love you both feel for each other.
Braden, please take the ring you have selected for Madison.
As you place it on her finger, repeat after me. Madison, I give you this ring, as a symbol of my love. All that I am, I give to you. All that I have, I share with you.
Madison, please take the ring that you have selected for Braden.
As you place it on his finger, repeat after me. Braden, I give you this ring, as a symbol of my love. All that I am, I give to you. All that I have, I share with you.
*(Unity Ceremony)*
And now, Braden and Madison have chosen to do something special to symbolize their love for each other…by literally tying the knot, a fisherman’s knot.
This special knot is one that cannot be broken. It has unimaginable strength and becomes even stronger when it’s tested by life’s trials, just as this marriage will grow stronger as the years pass.
Each rope represents your individual pasts and the lives you lived up to today. Once tied, they symbolize your future together, which shall be forever woven together just like the cords in this rope. From today forward, your lives will be forever intertwined and your bond unbreakable.
When the knot is pulled tight, it becomes so strong that the ropes will break before the knot comes undone. It is meant to stand any test of time. Just as marriage is not to be undone, let this fisherman’s knot be a reminder of your love and the binding together of your hearts and your lives today and forever more.
Braden and Madison… Please pull your end of the rope.
“Since they are no longer two but one flesh, let no one separate what God has put together”
By the authority vested in me by American Marriage Ministries and the State of Florida I now pronounce you husband and wife!
Let us pray… God, we ask for your blessings upon Braden and Madison, as we celebrate this joyous occasion in their lives. Bind them together with cords that cannot be broken. Bind them together with love.
Bless their home as a place of love and of peace. And if times grow hard and tempers grow short, help them to look into their hearts and remember the love that brought them here today. May they always place their trust in you, Lord. Amen
Family and friends, I present to you for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. Braden and Madison Herndon
