We are gathered here today in the presence of God and as witnesses to celebrate the marriage of Abisola Daniel and Matthew Olumoya in holy matrimony. Surrounded by your love and support, we come together in this beautiful place to share in their joy as they begin their new life together.

TO THE PARENTS/ FAMILY

Today, we will witness the coming together of not only ABISOLA and MATTHEW but also their families. To honor the impact their families have had on their lives. 

I want to ask! Mr.DANIEL, Do you give your blessing to the union of Abby and Matt?

💍 Matt & Abby Love Story

Every love story has a beginning

In the summer of 2018, two young people who just finished College and Landed their very First Jobs —

at the same Company, on the Exact same Day.

Now, you would think their story began in the office.

But God has a Sense of Humor.

Because the Moment that started everything happened at a Bus Stop.

There's a bus in Baltimore called the Charm City CirCuLator. If you know, you know. It was free.

It was late most of the time And some days it just didn't show up at all.

One morning Matt walked to that bus stop and saw again Abby already there, on the phone, frustrated about that bus. Something about that moment made him speak up. He jumped right in and said —

"Seriously, this bus is so bad."

And just like that, a door opened.

What started as two Strangers Bonding over a Bad Commute grew into frien.odship — and Friendship Grew into Love.

Now, Matt and Abby didn't follow a traditional timeline. Because love doesn't always move the way we plan. Sometimes it moves exactly the way it's supposed to.

On December 22nd, 2024, Matt surprised Abby with an engagement celebration surrounded by loved ones.

That date meant so much to them that one year later —

on December 22nd, 2025 — quietly and privately, they said “I Do”.

So today is not the beginning of their love. Today is the Public Celebration of it.

What began at a Bus Stop is now being Declared before the World.

Today they stand before you to say — what we did quietly,

we now Celebrate Out Loud.

This Love is Real , It is Sealed, and it is Forever.

Welcome to their Wedding Celebration.

ABBY and MATT, The contract of marriage is most solemn and is not to be entered into lightly, but thoughtfully and seriously with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities.

It demands love, loyalty, communication, understanding, forgiveness, and a commitment to stand by each other, no matter what life brings.

These are the foundations of a happy and enduring home. No other human ties are more tender, and no other vows are more important than those you are about to pledge.

Colossians 3:12–17

Colossians reminds us that marriage is not built only on the big moments —

but on the everyday choices we make toward one another.

The choice to lead with compassion instead of pride. To choose patience in difficult moments. To offer kindness, grace, forgiveness, and understanding.

And above all Else, to Put on Love.

Because Love is the Foundation that Holds everything Together — through every Season,

every Challenge, every Victory, and every New Chapter Life brings.

Today is not simply about celebrating a wedding day. It is about Honoring a Partnership Rooted in friendship, peace, faith, and the commitment to continue choosing one another every single day.
