Officiated by Anika S. Benson at Braid Mills in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on May 10th, 2026. Witnessed by Renell Tample .
"Love Knows No Borders Verena and Ronald’s intimate elopement at Brave Mills was a beautiful reminder that love doesn’t need a large guest list to make a lasting impact. From the moment they arrived, it was clear how much they cherished one another. Ronald looked sharp in his tuxedo, and Lorena was absolutely radiant. I was so glad I had taken the time to prepare and decorate the ceremony space because they looked like they were ready for a grand celebration. Their love story was especially meaningful, bringing together two different cultures and backgrounds with one shared commitment—to spend the rest of their lives together. Witnessing that kind of love is one of the reasons I enjoy being a wedding officiant. Although this was an elopement, I believe every couple deserves a memorable experience. I wanted them to feel celebrated, not simply married. Seeing their surprise and appreciation for the personal touches I included made the day even more rewarding. Their kindness, gratitude, and genuine excitement were a joy to witness, and Ronald’s generous tip was an unexpected expression of appreciation that truly touched my heart. Every ceremony reminds me that it’s never about the size of the wedding—it’s about the love, the commitment, and the memories created in that moment. It was an honor to officiate Lorena and Ronald’s wedding, and I wish them a lifetime filled with love, laughter, adventure, and God’s continued blessings."
