Dearly Beloved and Honored Guests,

Honored guests, I welcome each of you here today on behalf of Angel and Heather and thank you for being here to witness such an amazing and beautiful moment in their life. Today we are here to witness the profound love between Angel and Heather and share their joy and happiness on this momentous day.

Marriage is not the result of a single event or legal decree. It is something that occurs in the hearts of two people. It develops from truly loving, caring, and sharing oneself with another. Marriage is a daily adventure, a dedication that starts in the spirit and is fostered every day by compassion, patience, and the readiness to give of ourselves to our loved one. Choosing to face the world together is the greatest commitment that two people can ever make in this lifetime.

Angel and Heather are here today in front of all of us to formally declare their love; to pledge to grow personally to one another, and to this lovely marriage they are building. Love is a trip shared and made richer by the communities we build around us and not a single act. We are all witnesses here in this holy place of love's magic and promise. Let us all search inside our own hearts, fill them with love for Angel and Heather, and recall the strength of the love we are commemorating today.

With your compassion and open hearts, every one of you has added something unique to this day. Angel and Heather see your presence as a present; they sense it and are really appreciative. As witnesses, you too are a part of this joyous ride of love and commitment between them. Your love and support are the seal of approval that this union is indeed blessed.
