Good afternoon family,

Thank you all for being here today as we gather to celebrate something truly special—not only the joining of two lives, but a love story that reminds us that happiness, companionship, and new beginnings have no age limit. Today, I have the absolute highest honor of standing here as my mom and Rich’s officiant.

When I first mentioned the idea of me conducting this ceremony, it was honestly just that, an idea that I thought was pretty funny at the time..actually everyone thought it was pretty funny. So funny, in fact, that they all thought I was joking.

Well jokes on you, I was serious.

So I stand here today, an ordained minister, prepared to unite Judi & Rich in holy matrimony.

Rich, thank you for bringing happiness, laughter, companionship, and love into her life. Judi is so much more than just a mother, a grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt. She is the heart of our family, is my best friend, and we know that you will cherish and care for her, as she will you, with your whole heart and soul.

Today, Judi and Rich remind all of us that life's greatest gifts can arrive when we least expect them. They remind us that companionship matters, laughter matters, and that every stage of life holds the possibility of joy.

Their story proves that the best chapters of our lives can be written at any stage.

Now I ask you both to declare your intentions before your family and friends.

Rich, do you take Judi to be your lawful wife, your companion, your confidant, and your best friend? Do you promise to honor her, cherish her, support her, and share with her all of life's adventures?

Judi, do you take Rich to be your lawful husband, your companion, your confidant, and your best friend? Do you promise to love him, honor him, support him, and share with him all of life's adventures?

The wedding ring is a symbol of love without end—a circle with no beginning and no end.

May these rings serve as a daily reminder of the promises you make today and of the love you share.
