Officiated by Eric Thomas Ciborski at Lake Julien in Asheville, North Carolina on May 31st, 2026. Witnessed by Carrie Bradham and Tracy Adams.
"This was my first time officiating a wedding. I must say that it was a great experience, and I look forward to doing it again! It was so nice to be able to make it a truly personal and unique ceremony and experience for everyone involved. I think the bride and groom were very happy with how it went, and we were able to cater it to what they wanted (and did not want). I feel like it was a beautiful location, and everything came together in a very personal and organic way that truly felt genuine and specific to the couple's requests and expectations."
Welcome Family and Friends,
We are gathered together here on this beautiful day to celebrate PHENIX and TAMIA, as they make a promise of love and commitment to one another in marriage.
This contract is not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously, and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. Please remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home.
What a gift and joy to find someone with whom to spend our life! Committing to share our brightest days and weather our darkest nights with someone is no small thing and cannot be done lightly.
Commitment is about trust. It’s about patience, forgiveness, devotion, and hope. It’s what happens when a relationship becomes a home — a place of safety and love — to which each partner can return, again and again.
Love isn’t just a feeling. It’s an action, and a decision not to act. It’s an essence, and an energy, the invisible fabric of our cosmos, our paths woven together in intricate patterns of compassion, compromise, understanding, and acceptance. Love is a power greater than us, and within us. Love is language, and the warmth of sitting in shared silence with someone who truly sees us – the way PHENIX and TAMIA truly see each other.
We celebrate with them today as they commit to honor this love for a lifetime.

PRONOUNCEMENT OF MARRIAGE:
(Officiant TO THE COUPLE:)
True marriage is more than just a ceremony or a piece of paper – it is a lasting bond that joins two lives and two hearts. Marriage is love. Companionship. Trust. And Respect. May you always find strength in each other, laugh with each other, and find safety and comfort in each other’s words and company. May you celebrate many joyful seasons together, support each other when days are difficult, and continue to learn and grow closer together with each passing year.
By the authority vested in me by American Marriage Ministries and the State of North Carolina I now pronounce you husband and wife!
You may now kiss!
