Welcome, everyone! We are gathered here today to witness the official joining of two people who looked at each other and said, “Yep… you’ll do forever.”
For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Taylor’s Uncle Glen, and I’ve been asked to stand here today because apparently getting ordained online makes me qualified to talk about love.
But honestly, looking at these two, it’s easy to see why we’re all here.
Marriage is a lot of things. It’s love, trust, partnership, commitment… and continuously asking each other, “What do you want to eat?” until one person gets mad.
It’s agreeing to spend forever with someone who farts way too much, leaves 50 pairs of socks around the house, and somehow cannot hear you unless you start the sentence with, “Never mind, I’ll do it myself.”
But the truth is, when you find the right person, even the annoying stuff becomes part of the story you love.
Chuck and Taylor, you two have built something really special. A relationship filled with laughter, friendship, support, and the kind of love that survives stressful days, bad moods, and endless arguments about candy crush.
That’s real love.
Not the movie kind where everything is perfect all the time — because honestly, if romance movies included arguments about the gas always being on E and who forgot to switch the laundry, they’d be a lot more believable.
Real love is choosing each other every single day.
On the easy days.
On the messy days.
On the days where one of you says, “I’m fine,” and absolutely is not fine.
And today, in front of everyone who loves you most, you’re promising to keep choosing each other through all of it.
To laugh together.
To grow together.
To support each other’s dreams.
To say “I’m sorry” sometimes even when you’re pretty sure you were technically right.
And to continue building a life full of memories, inside jokes, chaos, and love.
So before we continue, take a second and really look at each other.
This is your person.
Your best friend.
Your emergency contact.
Your forever wedding date.
And now, legally, the person who gets half your snacks.

[Exchange Rings]
These rings are a symbol of your love and commitment — a reminder that your lives are now connected in a way that can’t be undone… mostly because weddings are expensive.
But truly, may these rings always remind you of the promises you’re making today:
To stand by each other,
to laugh often,
to love deeply,
and to never stop being each other’s home.
By the power vested in me, and with the support of all your family and friends gathered here today, I now pronounce you married!
You may kiss each other!
Ladies and gentlemen, it is my honor to present for the very first time… Mr & Mrs White!
