Dearly Beloved,
We are gathered here today to witness the union of Nic Rangel Fine and Trent Franklin Hibbs.
Every wedding is a celebration of love, but today feels particularly momentous. To look at Nic and Trent is to see more than just two people in love; it is to see two people who have chosen, over and over again, to keep their hearts open in a world that wasn't always kind.
We acknowledge that the road leading to this altar was not paved with ease. It was a path marked by obstacles, shadows, and personal trials. Yet, it is precisely because of those storms that we can truly appreciate the happiness they have found in one another.
Love, for you, isn't just a feeling. It is a sanctuary. It is the quiet understanding that the other person knows your scars and loves the skin that grew over them. Today, you aren’t just promising to be partners; you are promising to be each other’s peace.
Nic and Trent will now share their vows.
*(Vows)*
Nic and Trent, please take each other’s hands."
To Nic:
"Nic, do you take Trent to be your husband? Do you promise to be his greatest advocate, to offer him a soft place to land, and to celebrate the happiness you have fought so hard to find together? Do you vow to keep building a life that is defined not by where you’ve been, but by where you are going together?"
Nic: "I do."
To Trent:
"Trent, do you take Nic to be your husband? Do you promise to cherish his heart, to protect the joy you share, and to stand as his constant partner through all the seasons of life? Do you vow to nurture this love as the hard-won treasure that it is?"
Trent: "I do."
Nic, Trent - you will now exchange rings as a symbol of your love and commitment. Let these rings be a reminder that no matter what the world may bring, you have a home in one another."
*(Ring Exchange)*
By the authority vested in me by American Marriage Ministries and the State of Missouri I now pronounce you husband and husband! You may now kiss your groom!
