"Paul and Lori’s wedding on May 9th was such a beautiful reminder of why I love officiating weddings. Beneath a gorgeous willow tree in Texas, surrounded by family and friends, they exchanged vows in a heartfelt bilingual ceremony filled with love, laughter, and emotion. One of the most meaningful parts of the day was being able to livestream the ceremony through Zoom so the groom’s family in Peru could still be present and share in such an important moment from across the world. Like many real weddings, not everything went perfectly according to schedule, and yes, the groom arrived late! But honestly, it became part of the story everyone will always remember. The guests were patient, the atmosphere stayed joyful, and once the ceremony began, you could feel how deeply these two cared for one another. Watching them hold hands, smile through their nerves, and listen so intently to each other’s vows made the entire evening feel incredibly genuine and personal. The blue and white floral arch, the soft movement of the willow branches, and the warm evening light created such a romantic setting. I loved helping guide them through a ceremony that reflected both their personalities and their cultures while keeping the focus on connection, family, and commitment. It was an honor to stand with them as they officially began this next chapter together. Weddings like this remind me that perfection is never what matters most. What matters is love, support, flexibility, and creating a moment that truly feels like “them.”"
