"My daughter and her then Boyfriend kind of got engaged and literally married within a week because he wanted to make sure that before he got out of the military, she would be able to get his benefits. So there was no ceremony this time just basically went to the courthouse. I witness and signed the necessary documents as a minister and that was my first experience. I still think it is an amazing and pretty cool thing to be able to do something like this and bring happiness to individuals who want to create an everlasting bond as a husband and wife."
