"Officiating Andrea Orozco and Leonel Angulo’s wedding felt like stepping into a moment that was already full of intention, love, and quiet excitement. From the very beginning, there was this beautiful sense that everything had aligned exactly the way it was meant to. Being able to secure a space for them—thanks to a generous and kind-hearted event space owner who truly showed up for their day—set the tone for what the entire experience would become: supported, heartfelt, and genuine. I felt excited more than anything. Not nervous—because when a couple is this grounded in their love, it creates a sense of calm that carries through the entire ceremony. There’s a certain kind of energy when two people are fully present with each other, and Andrea and Leonel had that. It made my role feel less like “leading” a ceremony and more like witnessing something sacred unfold in real time. One of the most beautiful surprises was just how natural everything felt. No pressure, no overthinking—just two people standing in a space that was made available to them with love, ready to say “this is forever” in their own way. Those are the moments you can’t manufacture, and they’re the ones that stay with you. What I loved most about the ceremony was the intimacy of it. These ceremonies aren’t just about words or structure; they’re about presence. About two people opening their hearts not just to each other, but to the world, and saying “this is us.” I left feeling honored, honestly. Every time a couple allows me into such a personal and meaningful moment, it’s something I don’t take lightly.
