"Incredible first experience officiating Allison and Brian’s wedding "
Good evening, everyone. Welcome to this beautiful day at LBI National Golf and Resort as we gather to celebrate the marriage of Brian Yabroudy and Allison Timmons.
Before we begin, I’d like to ask us all — family, friends, and loved ones — to lead with three simple attributes for the duration of this wedding celebration: energy, positivity, and love. Bring your full energy to be present in this moment. Carry positivity in your hearts and on your faces. And let love guide every interaction today and beyond. If we all commit to that, I know we’ll create memories that Brian and Allie will cherish forever.
I’ve had the privilege of knowing both Brian and Allie, and I can say without hesitation they are each amongst the best people I know.
Brian is one of the most versatile guys you’ll ever meet. He’s hardworking and dedicated in everything he does. He tells you exactly how it is — straight talk with no filter. But he’s also the first one there to boost you up when you need it, or kick you back into action when you’ve wandered off course. He’s loyal to his core, outgoing, athletic, and deeply family-oriented. Brian shows up for the people he loves every single time.
Allison is equally extraordinary. She’s kind, caring, and loving in the truest sense. Extremely smart, dedicated, and loyal. She surrounds herself with a strong circle of influence because people are naturally drawn to the warmth of her heart.
What makes Brian and Allison such a perfect match is how beautifully their strengths complement each other. They understand that a real partnership isn’t about being exactly the same — it’s about the positives and the negatives that make the whole greater than the sum of its parts. It’s about working together, supporting each other’s dreams, and choosing one another through the easy days and the challenging ones.
One thing I believe about love is that it’s something you build. One of the best ways to think about it is like a bonfire. Not because it can go out, but because of what it becomes when you take care of it. A good fire isn’t rushed. It’s built over time. It starts small with the simple things — twigs, sticks, papers — the everyday moments, laughing together, checking in, being there for each other in ways that might seem small but mean everything. Then little by little, you add more to it — logs, branches, your time, your energy, your willingness to grow together. You learn each other, you support each other, you figure out what it means to really be partners. And over time, that fire becomes something steady, something warm, something that feels like home.
That is what marriage is. It’s not just one big moment or one big promise. It’s the little choices you make every day to keep showing up for each other. So Allie and Brian, as you stand here today, know that what you’ve already built is real, and what’s ahead of you is even better, because you get to keep building your fire together.
Brian and Allison, please turn and face each other and hold hands.
Brian and Allison, you have chosen to come here today to be married.
Brian, do you take Allison to be your lawfully wedded wife? Do you promise to love, honor, and cherish her in good times and in bad, for as long as you both shall live?
