Kofi Tawiah Sarfo And Josephine Boatemaa Amankwah’s Wedding Wedding Ceremony Script

Dearly Beloved and Honored Guests,

We have gathered together here today to join Kofi Tawiah Sarfo and Josephine Boatemaa Amankwah in the spiritual union of marriage.

This contract is not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously, and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. Please remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home.

THE VOWS:

Kofi, please look upon [Josephine] and repeat after me -

1, [Kofi Tawiah Sarfo]

Take you to be my lawfully wedded [wife].

I vow to love, honor, and cherish you.

I take you for all of your strengths and faults,

As I offer myself to you with all of my strengths and faults.

I will help you in difficult times,

And will turn to you when I need help.

I choose you as the person,

With whom I will spend the rest of my life.

This is my vow.

[Josephine], please look upon [Kofi] and [repeat after me]:

1, [Josephine Boatemaa Amankwah]

Take you to be my lawfully wedded [husband].

CONSENT. Having exchanged your vows, the moment has arrived to declare your consent to be married.

[Kofi], do you promise to have this [woman] as your wedded [wife]? Do you promise to love [her], comfort [her], honor [her]; to keep [her] in sickness and in health; forsaking all others, so long as you both shall live? If you do, say, "I do."

[Kofi states]: I do.

[Josephine], do you promise to have this [man] as your wedded [husband]? Do you promise to love [him], comfort [him], honor [him]; to keep [him] in sickness and in health; forsaking all others, so long as you both shall live? If you do, say, "I do."

[Josephine]: I do.

RINGS:

*Have Groom & Bride pull out rings*

May these rings be a continuing reminder to you of the vows you have exchanged here today and may they serve as a symbol to the world of the commitments you have made to each other.

[Kofi], please place the ring on [Josephine]'s hand.

[Josephine], please place the ring on [Kofi]'s hand.

PRONOUNCE MARRIAGE:

By the power vested in me by American Marriage Ministries and the State of Washington, I now pronounce you [husband] and [wife]! You may kiss the bride.

Congratulations!
