"I had the honor of officiating the wedding of Monique Sherrie’ Marshall and Bobby Stanley Poston Jr., and it was a truly special experience for me. Their love story began in high school where they first met and were simply friends. Years later, they reconnected, began dating, and after about three years together, they decided to take the next step and get married. Since it was my first time officiating a wedding, I was extremely nervous at the beginning. However, knowing that the bride was also a little nervous actually helped calm me down. It reminded me that the moment was real and meaningful for everyone involved. As the ceremony went on, I became more confident and comfortable in my role. I was proud that I was able to overcome my nerves and successfully perform my duties as the officiant. The most rewarding part was witnessing two people who had known each other for so long stand together and commit their lives to one another. Being part of such an important moment in their journey was truly an honor and an experience I will always remember. 💛"
