Good afternoon, family, friends, and honored guests.

Today, we're here to celebrate the union of Andrew Robert Reidel and Chelsea Abigail Amerson!

I've known Andrew for a quite some time. Well into 20+ years of our lives. We went to school together, largely grew up together, played so many games together, and have maintained that friendship and bond well into our adult lives.

I've not known Chelsea quite as long, but she entered our friend group like a lightning bolt and quickly became close with all of us between the laughter, board games, and all of the time that we've spent together as friends.

It's a little funny though, how fate brings people together. From when I first saw the two of them together to now, they've gone from a new couple to a blossoming family with two beautiful children and one of the strongest and healthiest relationships I think I've ever personally seen. To say that they're good for each other is an incredible understatement. They're a true partnership; one that understands that marriage isn't 50/50; but a union that requires both people to give 100%. It's a partnership that each one understands that one needs to give grace to their partner when they can't give 100% on a day, and then go above and beyond to cover the difference. Fate saw that these two wonderful people who understand this came together.

Because fate has been so kind to bring these two together, and gaming has been such an integral part of our lives and friendship, I've brought with me a 20 sided die. In D&D, when combat starts, everyone at the table "Rolls for Initiative." This is to dictate what order combat goes in. So, for our vows, we're going to have Chelsea and Andrew "roll for initiative" to see who gets to go first!
