I'd just like to mention before we start that I will not be speaking with a spanish accent in hopes that everyone can understand fully what I'm saying up here.
We are gathered here today to celebrate one of life’s greatest moments—the joining of two hearts in marriage. On behalf of Ryan and Kara, thank you all for being here to share in this special day.
Marriage is a commitment not only of love, but of patience, kindness, and understanding. It is a promise to support one another, to grow together, and to build a life filled with meaning and joy.
Ryan and Kara’s journey together began in Philly where they started dating, shared a home and adopted a dog. Through their time together, they have built a relationship rooted in trust, laughter, respect, and growth. Thankfully for us they also share a love for outdoor pickleball and realized Florida was a much better place to play year round. Now, we are fortunate enough to all be in Jacksonville in this beautiful backyard to watch these two tie the knot on their relationship.
Now, please face each other.
Ryan, do you take Kara to be your lawfully wedded wife, to love and cherish, to support and stand by her, in good times and in challenging times, for as long as you both shall live?
**[Partner 1]:** I do.
Kara, do you take Ryan to be your lawfully wedded husband, to love and cherish, to support and stand by him, in good times and in challenging times, for as long as you both shall live?
**[Partner 2]:** I do.
It is time to exchange your vows without the spanish accent.
Please repeat after me:
I, [name],
take you, [name],
to be my [spouse/partner],
to have and to hold,
from this day forward,
for better or worse,
for richer or poorer,
in sickness and in health,
to love and to cherish,
as long as we both shall live.
**Ring Exchange**
May we have the rings?
These rings are a symbol of the unending circle of love—without beginning or end. They represent the commitment you make to one another today.
Ryan, please place the ring on Kara’s finger and repeat after me:
“I give you this ring as a symbol of my love and commitment.”
Kara, please place the ring on Ryan’s finger and repeat after me:
“I give you this ring as a symbol of my love and commitment.”
By the authority vested in me and the state of Florida, it is my honor and joy to pronounce you husband and wife.
You may now kiss!
Friends and family, it is my great pleasure to introduce for the (technically) second time, Ryan and Kara as a married couple!
Let us celebrate their love!
