Heather : Everyone invited was hand-picked by Miranda and Leon , to support them today and for the rest of their lives . This sometimes will not be an easy task , It is our obligation as friends and family to hold them accountable and to love them through their trials. Through heart-ache and tears but most importantly to guide them back to each other when sometimes that may feel impossible .

AJ- Leon , this means you will need to love and accept Miranda even when she is upset and gives you the STINK eye. You also need to accept Aliegha and Sierra through their teen years. Just remember they will love you again after the age of 20. Leon, you have given Miranda strength by showing up. You promised her a home before winter . In 4 months you delivered . You do what you say and you say what you do . This is what a family needs to feel safe. In Mirandas words, if he tells me he is going to do something he always makes it happen. She loves you , but your love for Aliegha and Sierra and unwavering guidence is one of the reasons the 4 of you are here today.

Heather - Miranda , to you this means you will help him and love him when he is being Mayhem. I am sure this name was not given to him by accident.

Heather : A blended family is a beautiful thing.

We have a blended family, We gave our children stability and love and that is more important sometimes. Now that they are grown we can see that.
