Welcome and thank you everyone for being here. Today, we are gathered here to celebrate something both simple and extraordinary: the love between Bryan and Jenna.

But before we go any further, Byran and Jenna want to take a moment to acknowledge the loved ones who couldn’t be here physically today, but who are very much present in spirit. We feel them in the love around us, in the stories that we share, and the joy of this day. They are watching with pride and cheering these two on from above.

(Pause for a few seconds of silence.)

Bryan and Jenna didn’t get here by accident. Five years ago, a swipe on Bumble turned into a meeting in a Walmart parking lot and in true Jenna fashion, she challenged Bryan to a thumb war right there and then. That playful, unexpected beginning says lot about who these two are together: fun, genuine, and never afraid to be themselves.

Since then, they’ve built a life filled with laughter, inside jokes, and an impressive amount of SpongeBob quotes- Byran’s dedication to memorizing every episode proves two things: one, Byran is committed… and two, Jenna is incredibly patient... But underneath all the jokes, they found something solid. They show up for each other and continue to choose each other day after day. And today, they are promising to be each other’s Patrick to SpongeBob. Fiona to Shrek. Bella to Edward.

Now before we continue… Bryan and Jenna, please join hands. While we all challenge you both to start this marriage how you started dating, with a thumb war. So, if everyone would count with me… ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, I DECLARE A THUMB WAR!

Alright, alright. Back to why we are here:

BRYAN, do you take Jenna to be your wife, partner in crime, and person to turn to when you cannot find your license, even when you say you put it back where it belonged?

And JENNA, do you take Bryan to be your husband, your teammate, and the person you chose day after day- even when he eats the last KrabbyPatty without asking?

(I DO)

Bryan and Jenna will now exchange rings as a symbol of their love and commitment. Rings are a symbol of eternity- they have no beginning and no end… These rings are a reminder that love doesn’t have to be perfect, but it does mean you’ll never face anything alone.

BYRAN, as you place the ring on Jenna’s finger, repeat after me.

“I give you this ring as a sign of my love. I promise to keep you laughing, stand by you, and continue choosing you every day.”

JENNA, as you place the ring on Bryans finger, repeat after me.

Now that we’ve heard the promises, we’ve seen the ring, and we feel the love… by the power vested in me by the internet, and years of big sister authority, it is my absolute honor to pronounce you husband and wife!
