Officiated by Haley Deonecia Dionne in New Hampshire on February 28th, 2026.
"This wedding marks my first wedding as an officiant. This day was extra special as it was a family member's wedding. Nothing quite prepares you for the moment someone so special to you asks you to officiate their wedding. It’s a mixed feeling of shock, honor, privilege and a little pressure; it’s a big role. I was about as prepared as I could be, I basically had my speech memorized, but I was so nervous. I just wanted them to love it. Once I saw the bride walk down the aisle, all nervousness escaped me. The moment wasn’t about me, it was about the bride and groom. The amount of love radiating off the two of them, it was hard to focus on any other feeling I was having. It was beautiful to see and hear so many tears and sniffles in the crowd. I’ve never really experienced anything like that in my life. I think that moment showed me that love is so moving. And when two people get love so right, it’s one of the most beautiful and most special things to bear witness to. I will never forget this day as long as I live. It was an honor and a privilege to be such a big part of their day. "
