Today is finally here, a moment in time that Adam and Natalie have been patiently waiting for. A time in which we come together in the presence of God to witness and celebrate their union. It is my absolute honor to have been asked to officiate your wedding and it brings all of us such joy to be here with you.

Before we get started, I would like to pray and thank God for this moment and ask for his guiding hand as we unite these two in marriage.

"Our heavenly father, we thank you and rejoice for this moment. This moment in time in which we pause to honor you and the grace that you give to us all. I pray that you give me a guiding hand with this honor in uniting Adam and Natalie in marriage. Lord, we know it was you that brought this couple together and we hope that this marriage will glorify you. Please Lord, bless this union and strengthen their hearts as they begin their life as husband and wife. Thank you Lord for all of your wonderful blessings. Amen.

We are gathered together here to join Adam Wheeler and Natalie Crane in the spiritual union of marriage.

Often, you can understand a relationship without a single word being spoken. When you see Adam and Natalie together, you notice how naturally they stand side-by-side, peaceful, comfortable, and at ease with one another. When I see them together, I see that Adam stands proud and I see love, trust, and a friendship that has clearly been guided and nurtured by God.

Scripture teaches us in Ecclesiastes that a cord of three strands is not quickly broken. Marriage is not only the joining of a man and a woman, but the joining of two lives with the Lord at the center. Adam and Natalie's smiles and the joy they share remind us that their relationship is more than romance..it is companionship, patience, forgiveness, and a daily choice to care for one another as Christ calls us to love.

Adam and Natalie, in my house I refer to God's word as the instruction manual for life. Remember, no matter what life gives you, the answers are in this book. I picked out a few verses to read from God's word that are instructions for this marriage. From the book of Ephesians verses 5:22-5:25.

With all that being said, this contract is not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously, and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. Please remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home.
