Dearly beloved,
We have come together in the presence of God and of this congregation to witness and bless the joining together of Torey Kadow and Megan Valleskey in Holy Matrimony. Marriage is a gift of God, instituted at creation, and it is to be entered into with reverence, faith, and gratitude.
This covenant is not to be entered into lightly or carelessly, but thoughtfully and prayerfully, with the understanding that love, faithfulness, and mutual respect are the foundations of a strong and lasting marriage.
Torey and Megan have come before us to make their promises to one another, trusting in God’s grace and seeking His blessing upon their life together.
Declaration of Intent
Torey Kadow, will you have Megan Valleskey to be your wife;
to live together in the covenant of marriage;
to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her,
in sickness and in health,
forsaking all others,
as long as you both shall live?
(Wait for response)
Megan Valleskey, will you have Torey Kadow to be your husband;
to live together in the covenant of marriage;
to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him,
in sickness and in health,
forsaking all others,
as long as you both shall live?
(Wait for response)
Vows
Torey and Megan will now speak the vows they have chosen, pledging themselves to one another before God and these witnesses.
(Vows)
Exchange of Rings
The wedding rings you are about to exchange are outward and visible signs of the inward and spiritual grace of love and fidelity. As you give and receive these rings, may they remind you of the vows you have made this day.

Pronouncement
Having witnessed the promises you have made to one another, and by the authority entrusted to me by the State of Wisconsin, I now pronounce you husband and wife.
You may now share your first kiss as a married couple.
Let us pray.
May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you.
May the Lord look upon you with favor and grant you peace.
May God grant you joy in your life together, patience in times of trial,
and faithfulness in all that you do.
May your home be a place of love, forgiveness, and hope,
and may your marriage be strengthened by God’s abiding presence.
Amen.
