Officiated by Anika S. Benson at Valleybrook Country Club in Blackwood, New Jersey on November 6th, 2025. Witnessed by Bride uncle and Groom aunt .
"Officiating Tishara Hylton and Sharn De Lloyd Parkinson’s wedding at Ron Jaworski’s Valleybrook Country Club in Blackwood, NJ was an absolute joy! From the moment I received their inquiry, I knew this was going to be a special celebration. Tishara and Sharn are a beautiful couple with a genuine love story. They wanted to keep their ceremony short, simple, and sweet with about 15 intimate guests - no wedding party, just their closest loved ones witnessing their union. Their Christian background and desire to eventually renew their vows in Jamaica (2026-2027) showed me how deeply they value their commitment to each other and their faith. Like with every ceremony, I had my pre-ceremony jitters! But as always, I took a moment to breathe, pray, and center myself. The couple was slightly late, which gave me a few extra moments to ensure everything was perfect. Once they arrived, all nerves melted away as I witnessed the love and excitement radiating between them. The ceremony was intimate and heartfelt. Working with just 15 guests created such a sacred, personal atmosphere. Tishara and Sharn exchanged their vows with tears of joy and genuine emotion. Their love for each other was palpable, and being entrusted to unite them in marriage was truly an honor. What I loved most about this wedding was the simplicity and authenticity. No elaborate wedding party, no complicated logistics - just two people committing their lives to each other surrounded by those who matter most. This is what wedding ceremonies are truly about. The venue at Ron Jaworski’s Valleybrook Country Club provided the perfect backdrop for their celebration. Everything went beautifully, and I left feeling blessed to have been part of their special day. I’m already looking forward to when they renew their vows in Jamaica!"

👩🏽❤️👨🏽TO THE BRIDE & GROOM
TISHARA and SHARN, the Commitment of Marriage is Sacred and should not be entered into lightly, but Thoughtfully and Seriously with a Deep Understanding of its Obligations and Responsibilities.
Marriage is one of Life's Greatest Adventures—a commitment that goes Deeper than any Promise you've made before. It demands Love, Loyalty, Communication, Understanding, Forgiveness, and the Courage to Stand by Each Other, no matter what Life brings.
It asks you to be Vulnerable when it's easier to be Guarded. To Forgive when you'd rather be Right. To Stay when it feels Hard.
Marriage doesn't make you Perfect—it makes you Partners. It won't Erase your Differences;
it will Teach you to Dance with them.
No other Human Ties are more Tender, and no other Vows are more Important than those you are about to Pledge.
The Beautiful Truth is this: You don't Have to be Perfect for each other. You just have to be Present. Show up, Even on the Hard Days. Choose Each Other, Again and Again.
