Dearly Beloved and Honored Guests,
"Ladies and gentlemen, family and friends,
We are gathered here today to witness and celebrate the union of Danielle Zahn and Steven Searby in marriage. Today is a joyous occasion, filled with love, laughter, "a Noah's Ark number of pets, diet coke" and the promise of a beautiful life together."
We are gathered together here to join Steven Searby and Danielle Zahn in the spiritual union of marriage.
"My name is Mike Searby, I'm Steven's older brother, and I'm honored "and very nervous" to be standing up here with these two beautiful people as the ceremony officiant. "Steven was the best man at my wedding so I feel that me being up here is a bit of him getting back at me for making him give a speech all those years ago". As we begin this ceremony, I want to share "a little bit of what I have learned about and seen from Danielle and Steven throughout their journey together" a story that captures the essence of [Bride's Name] and [Groom's Name]'s journey together. It's a story that speaks to their sense of adventure, and unwavering commitment to one another. - need a story about them...the boys, animals, diet coke..."
"I've had the pleasure of knowing Danielle for xxxx now. And during that time, I've been able to see all of the wonderful reasons why Steven made the correct and easy choice to be up here today. Danielle is the mother of two wonderful little boys. Wyatt, who already has better hair and fashion sense than most of us here, me especially, and Lane, who is always available for an in-depth conversation about whichever dinosaur or monster toy he is currently carrying. The love Danielle has and shows for these two little gentlemen is proof of the wonderful person she is. There isn't anything she won't do to keep them safe, happy and healthy. Wyatt and Lane fit perfectly into our family and it's a joy to have them celebrate with us. That love and protection she has extends over to Steven as well. Watching their interactions these past xxxx has filled me and the family with happiness. Danielle makes Steven a better, more complete person. Because of Danielle and Steven's love, their house is now filled with love, smiles, kindness, excitement, 52 cases of Diet Coke, 12 dogs, 10 chickens, 2 fish, a lizard (anything else?) and 2 cats. I know I speak for the entire family when I say this, Danielle (and Wyatt and Lane), thank you for taking this step and making Steven whole, welcome to the family and we love you all very much."
"I promised Steven that I wouldn't tell any stories about how often he wet the bed, or the one time peed into our sister's radio, or peed off the top of a fence into multiple neighbors' yards at the same time, or once slept walked and told our dad that he would one day marry Big Butt...don't worry Danielle, that last one didn't end up happening. So, I won't bring those stories up, but I, and our brothers and sisters, will be available to discuss those stories, and many more, in depth at the reception. Steven has always been the funny one in the family and always ready to make others smile, but I don't feel he has always been able to laugh and smile and be happy for himself. He gave those parts of himself to improve everyone around him. When Danille came into his life, we finally got to see him laugh and smile and light up and be the person he is supposed to be. He still brings joy to others, but he is finally happy in his own life. Danielle brings that out in him, she gives him that; her love and kindness make him the best man he can be, and he deserves that more than anyone."
"Thank you, Danielle and Steven, for allowing all of us to share in your happiness today and for reminding us how the love we have for each other will fill our lives with joy...i dont know..."
"Today, as we stand here, we are reminded that love is not just about the perfect moments, but about how we navigate the imperfect ones together. It's about finding joy in the journey, even when the path is difficult. [Bride's Name] and [Groom's Name], your first date was a testament to your resilience and the strength of your bond. It set the stage for the incredible adventure that has brought you here today.
As you embark on this new chapter of your lives, may you always find strength in each other, just as you did on that fateful hike. May your love continue to grow, bringing you joy, laughter, and countless beautiful memories."
"Now, let us proceed with the ceremony, as [Bride's Name] and [Groom's Name] make their vows to one another, committing to a lifetime of love, adventure, and unwavering support."
This contract is not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously, and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. Please remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home.
Steven and Danielle will now share their vows.
