Welcome & Opening Remarks
Officiant:
"Good afternoon, everyone. For those of you I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting, my name is Andrew- or to the couple, Waz, and I am so honored to be standing here today with Kylee and Gavin.
On behalf of the couple, welcome. Thank you all for being here—near, far, and everywhere in between—to celebrate this moment. Your presence today means more to them than you know.
We are gathered here to witness and celebrate the marriage of two people who chose each other—on purpose, with intention, and with a whole lot of love."
Reflection on Love & Marriage
Officiant:
Marriage is not just about the big moments—the wedding day, the celebrations, the milestones—but about the quiet, everyday choices. It’s about choosing one another in the small moments: showing up, listening, laughing, forgiving, and growing side by side.
Kylee and Gavin understand that love is not about perfection, but about partnership. It’s about building a life that feels like home, wherever they are, as long as they’re together.
The Love Story (Optional but Encouraged)
Officiant:
If you know these two, you know that their story is one filled with laughter, adventure, kindness, resilience- and a whole lot of ice cream! From the moment they met, there was something easy and genuine about the way they connected.
They are best friends. They support one another. They challenge each other to be better. And most importantly, they love each other deeply and wholeheartedly.
Honoring Loved Ones
Officiant:
Before we continue, Kylee and Gavin would like to take a brief moment to honor and remember the loved ones who are not physically with us today, but who remain forever present in their hearts.
They carry your love, guidance, and memory with them as they begin this next chapter. Your presence is felt in the joy of this day and in the lives they continue to build together.
(Optional pause)
Intent to Marry
Officiant:
Kylee and Gavin, you are about to make promises to one another that will guide your life together.
Gavin, do you take Kylee to be your lawfully wedded wife, to love and cherish, to support and encourage, in all of life’s moments—both joyful and challenging?
Partner 1: I do.

Officiant:

Gavin, please repeat after me:
I choose you,
today and every day.
I promise to love you with intention,

Ring Exchange
Officiant:
May I have the rings, please?
(Camden will have rings and present to you)
These rings are a symbol of the promises you’ve made today—unending, just like the circle they form.
Gavin, as you place this ring on Kylee’s finger, please repeat after me:
I give you this ring,
as a symbol of my love and commitment.
I choose you today and always.
