"The wedding I officiated was for my daughter's best friend and her fiance. We also did their pre-marital counseling, which led into them asking me to officiate their wedding. For it being my first time officiating a wedding I received many, many compliments regarding the content I spoke on during the ceremony from the bride and grooms family and friends. I even had the DJ, and several of the photographers afterwards tell me how impressed they were as well. Throughout the evening, during the wedding reception, the bride and groom came up to me several times thanking me for officiating. I was so worried that I was not going to meet the bar, but I did, and it was such an honor to step up and make their day special."
