INVOCATION:

We are gathered here today to join Dezan Tanner Hernandez and Mya Marat Diaz Calderon in holy matrimony.

If any one can show just cause why these two should not be married, let them speak now or forever hold your peace.

If you would please bow your heads…

OPENING PRAYER:

Dear Heavenly Father. Thank you for the beautiful bond of love that exists between Dez and Mya. We are grateful for your presence with us here today and for your divine blessing on this holy event. In Jesus name, we pray, Amen

The union of marriage is most solemn and is not to be entered into lightly, but thoughtfully and seriously.

Remember that love, loyalty and understanding are the foundations of a happy relationship and an enduring home.

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it Is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres.”

DECLARATION OF INTENT:

Dez Do you take Mya to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, in sickness and in good health, in good times and bad, for richer or poorer keeping yourself unto her for as long as you both shall live? If so answer “I do”

Mya Do you take Dez to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, in sickness and in good health, in good times and bad, for richer or poorer keeping yourself unto him for as long as you both shall live? If so, answer “I do”

VOWS EXCHANGE:

Now Dez and Mya have prepared some vows in which they will share

with one another.

RINGS EXCHANGE:

Dez, place the ring that you have in your hand on Mya’s left ring finger and repeat after me...

“As this ring encircles your finger...from this moment forward...so will my love forever encircle you...you will never walk alone...my heart will be your shelter...my arms will be your home...we will walk through life as partners and best friends...I promise to do my best to love, cherish and accept you...just the way your are...I give you my heart until the end of time..I have no greater gift to give.”

Mya, place the ring that you have in your hand on Dez’s left ring finger and repeat after me...

Dez, you may now kiss your Bride.
