This is a special time of celebration that Zachery and Drew will remember, and because of this, they are thankful you are here today to share in their joy.
Readings: (Minister)
I'd like to share the sweet story of how Zack and Drew met.
As young teens the couple met through a mutual estranged friend. Drew immediately struck Zach as sweet and genuine. He and Drew kept in touch and grew closer, they became each other’s closest friends.
The more time they spent together, the more they both realized there was something special between them, a strong bond.
They made each other feel safe. She made him feel comfortable to be himself, and he was always there for her to keep her company at times when she was alone.
Unfortunately, others that disapproved of the two being friends eventually separated them for nearly ten years.
One night, Drew had a vivid dream of Zachary. The experience felt like a sign from the universe to find him. And indeed, it was.
When she reached out, she discovered he had been trying to contact her for years.
They reconnected and began dating.
Deep down, Drew had known since they were kids that Zach was the one she wanted to marry, and Zach always had a hunch that Drew was the one.
And to this day, they remain each other’s best friends and one true love.
Declaration of Intent: (Minister to Zachery, then Drew)
__Zachery__, will you take __Drew__,
Whose hand you hold, choosing her alone to be your lawfully wedded wife? Will you live with her in the state of true matrimony? Will you love her and comfort her through good and bad, in sickness and health, honoring her at all times, and being faithful to her?
Zachery Answer - "I do"
