Welcome one and all. We gather amidst the splendor offered by nature to bear witness to the joining of Lise and Mike.

Lise and Mike, you have proven that you have a love that is as fertile as the scene we find ourselves in today and as boundless as the skies above. Your friends and family have come together beneath the warm rays of the sun to celebrate your union and the next step you are about to take together.

DECLARATION OF INTENT

Officiant:

I will now ask Lise and Michael to take each other’s hands as you declare your intent before all gathered today. Do you, Lise, take Michael to be your husband?

Lise:

I do.

Officiant:

And now I ask Michael the same. Do you take Lise to be your Wife?

Michael:

I do.

EXCHANGING OF VOWS

Officiant:

The Lise and Michael have prepared vows that they would like to now exchange before those gathered here today.

Michael, you may begin.

EXCHANGING OF RINGS

Officiant:

May I please have the rings. Much like your love has no true beginning or end, so do these rings act as a perfect symbol of the bond you forge today. I ask Mike to place the ring on Lise’s finger and repeat after me. “With this ring, I make an eternal promise to love and cherish you forever.”

Officiant:

I now ask the same of you, Lise. Please place the ring on Mike’s finger and repeat the after me, “With this ring, I make an eternal promise to love and cherish you forever.”

PRONOUNCEMENT

Officiant:

Lise and Mike, today you have proven your commitment to one another while surrounded by nature’s bounty and witnessed by those who have come today. We now stand together and watch as you take your first steps together as husband and wife. By the power that has been vested in me by the state of Hawaii, I now officially pronounce you married. Share a kiss and let us all rejoice!
