Dearly Beloved and Honored Guests,

Welcome to the family and friends who traveled near and far to be here today. I know your presence means the world to David and Kristeena. We are all honored to be a part of their public pronouncement of their love and commitment to each other.

All of us gathered here today, family and friends of this wonderful couple, have come together to celebrate a most joyous occasion. All of us are fortunate to have been asked to witness the most important transition in a relationship between two people. This is a transition in which two people in love commit themselves to each other in word and action.

They take this step not because they need to, but because they want to. They desire to publicly pledge their love for each other, and commitment to each other. Kristeena Damson and David Guevara are honored to bear witness to this transition, and we know that you are not taking this step lightly. Many here have watched as your love for each other has grown and matured from the first date, into perfection that you manifest today. Today, we are privileged witnesses to this important step, as you proclaim your love for all the world to see.

Marriage is not to be entered into lightly. It requires that each of you are willing to support each other in both good times and bad times, supporting one another in all aspects of life and receiving the joy that your love for each other brings into the relationship. Thankful for the partner you chose to have alongside you in this rollercoaster of life.

Having chosen to share their lives together, I now ask you to declare your intentions before these witnesses.

A nature of love and commitment without a beginning or an end. As you exchange these rings, they may be a reminder of the joy, strength, and partnership you have found in one another.

Now that you have spoken the words and performed the rites that unite your lives, I do hereby in accordance with your beliefs and the laws of Texas, declare your marriage to be valid and binding, and I declare you, Kristeena and David, to be husband and wife.
