ABOUT THIS WEDDING
"I felt very honored to perform this wedding for my son and daughter in law. The entire day was beautiful from the weather to the ceremony to reception. These two were so happy and reflected their pure love for one another. I was very prepared as I rehearsed for nearly a month before the big day. However, once it was “go time”, I had this sudden anxiousness. But, as I approached the altar area, my nerves calmed and I was so proud to be able to do this. I was very conscientious of my tone, speed and dictation of the script. I was so proud that I did stutter or stammer. In fact, the grandfather of the bride remarked to that he was impressed with my speech (phew). After the ceremony, I received a couple of invites to perform other weddings, we shall see if that happens. Overall, I am very glad that I went through with officiating the event, as I was reluctant at first request. It was great to have such wonderful support from my wife and children. I am available to do more if called upon. "
