Officiant (Stephanie):
Welcome, family and friends.
We’re gathered here today to celebrate the union of Brandon and Tessa.
Each of you has played a special role in their love story — sharing moments of laughter, connection, and support as these two found each other and fell in love.
This is what love looks like when two soulmates find each other — a love that delights in differences and shines with honesty and openness, sharing in one grand adventure.
Love isn’t just a feeling. It’s an action, an essence, and an energy — the invisible fabric of our cosmos, weaving our paths together in intricate patterns of compassion, compromise, understanding, and acceptance.
Love is a power greater than us and within us. Love is language, and the warmth of sitting in shared silence with someone who truly sees us — the way Tessa and Brandon truly see each other.
Now, we gather to celebrate with them as they commit to honor this love for a lifetime. (Pause)
Brandon and Tessa, we welcome you to this moment in your lives. You have our unwavering support and friendship. You have built a home for each other in your hearts, a safe and infinite haven. Today, we celebrate you as you begin to build a marriage. (Pause)
Let us take a quiet moment to remember those who are not with us today — whether separated by distance or by time.
We especially hold in our hearts Eric, Heather, and Dylan.
Though they cannot stand here with us in body, their presence surrounds us in spirit.
Love knows no boundaries; it reaches across every distance and beyond all dimensions, forever connecting us. (Pause for a moment of silence)

Officiant:
Brandon and Tessa, do you now pledge your commitment to each other in marriage — to comfort, honor, and provide for each other each day?
Brandon & Tessa (Together):
We do!
Officiant:
Do you promise your devotion and dedication, and to keep your faith in each other even on difficult days?
Brandon & Tessa (Together):
We do!
Officiant:
And do you promise to have fun together, to seek new joys and discoveries, to play and laugh together — even when you’re old and gray?
Brandon & Tessa (Together):
We do!

Officiant:
Before I share this poem, I want to take a moment to honor what today truly celebrates — not just the joining of two people, but the weaving together of two hearts, two dreams, and two lives into one beautiful journey.
The words that follow speak to the quiet strength of partnership, the courage found in love, and the promise of walking hand in hand through every season of life.
It’s a blessing for the couple, and a gentle reminder to us all of the wonder that love can create. (Pause)
Reads Poem:
May you have the love
only two can know
May you go where only
two as one may go
May the sun rise and set
in your bonded hearts
and the moon never find you
too long apart
May you cherish each other's
dreams as your own
and turn stumbling blocks
into stepping stones
May you brave life's mountains
and miles together
May there be no storm
your love cannot weather
May you always be lovers
and allies and friends
May your souls' conversations
never end
May you capture on Earth
what's in Heaven above
May your hearts know the rapture
of an uncommon love.
(Pause briefly after the poem)

Officiant:
These words remind us that love is both a gift and a choice — renewed each day.
And now, Brandon and Tessa will exchange rings as a lasting symbol of that promise.
May I have the rings, please? (Pause for ring bearer or person presenting rings to step forward)
The circle of these rings speaks to the sacred rhythm of life — no beginning and no end, only continuity and connection.
As you exchange them, may they be blessed by your love and by all the hearts gathered here today.
Brandon, as you place this ring upon Tessa’s finger, let it be a circle of unending love and devotion.
Now, with these words, make your vow to her. Please repeat after me:
(Slow and clear so the couple can repeat)
With this hand, I will lift your sorrows,
Your cup will never empty, for I will be your wine,
With this candle, I will light your way in darkness,
and with this ring, I ask you to be mine.

Brandon and Tessa, you have pledged your love to one another in the presence of family and friends and have sealed those promises with the giving and receiving of rings.
May this moment be the foundation of a lifetime filled with laughter, strength, and grace.
By the power vested in me by the State of South Carolina and American Marriage Ministries, and with the support of friends and family,
it is my great joy and honor to now pronounce you HUSBAND and WIFE!
You may KISS THE BRIDE!
