Officiated by Erin Ashley Rosenberg at West Overton Museum in Scottdale, Pennsylvania on October 25th, 2025.
"I worked with Bethany at a distillery, and when she asked me to officiate her and Jordan's wedding I was happy to. Then I got to pull 'duel duty' as a bridesmaid as well. The whole weekend was amazing, and everything about working with Bethany and Jordan great!"
Welcome everyone.
Before we begin, Bethany and Jordan would like to remind everyone that this is an unplugged ceremony. They’ve already hired a professional photographer to capture the magic. So you can relax, be fully present, and resist the urge to channel your inner paparazzo.
We are gathered here today to witness and celebrate one of life’s greatest moments. The joining of two hearts and lives in marriage.
Bethany and Jordan’s story began not with glances across a crowded room, but with something far more modern; a swipe right.
Bethany had just moved to Squirrel Hill. Brave, she did not know anyone and was ready for a fresh start. Jordan always likes to remind us that yes, you can find true love on Tinder.
Today, we’re here because he was right.
They found something simple, honest, and real, and today, surrounded by those they love, they choose to keep choosing each other. Everyday for a lifetime.
Bethany and Jordan please join hands, look at one another, and remember this moment in time.
Will you, Jordan, keep Bethany as your favorite person? The person you get to laugh with, go on adventures with, and continue to support through life's tough moments. Whom you are proud of as you’ll grow old with and find new reasons to love every day?
::Wait for 'I do'::

::Wait for 'I do'::
Bethany and Jordan, marriage is a promise built not on perfection, but on partnership. Do you come here freely, with full hearts, ready to join your lives in marriage?
::Wait for 'We do'::
Rather than exchanging vows in front of us, Bethany and Jordan have chosen to share those promises privately. Their commitment is deeply personal, and they’ve already spoken from the heart in a way that holds great meaning to them both.
Instead, they’ve invited us to witness and celebrate something equally special: the blending of two spirits—both literally and symbolically.
A good whiskey, like a good marriage, warms you from within. It gives you courage when times are tough, and it brings comfort in moments of joy and celebration. Like love, it can be strong, complex, and even a little surprising—but it’s always worth savoring.
Of course, whiskey, like any relationship, has its moments. It might give you a headache, but it’s forgiving, and the beauty is, over time, it only gets better.
Today, Bethany and Jordan will blend two whiskeys, sealing them together in this barrel as a symbol of their union. Over time, what they’ve created will deepen, evolve, and become something entirely unique, just like their marriage.
The first pour represents each of them as individuals. Distinct, full of character, and complete in their own right.
::Wait for groom to pour half the bottle.::
The second pour symbolizes the blending of their lives. The merging of their strengths, and the creation of a new and richer partnership.
::Wait for bride to our half the other bottle. ::
The third pour stands for their long-term commitment. Just as aged whiskey rewards patience and care, so will their love as it grows stronger and more refined with each passing year.
::Bride & Groom both pour remaining whiskey.::
As you seal this blend today, you do so with the promise to nurture, honor, and enjoy the life you are building together—one sip, one day, one moment at a time.
Today Bethany and Jordan mark the beginning of a marriage that, like a fine whiskey, will deepen with age, revealing new layers of complexity, character, and warmth with every passing year.
The whiskey blending ritual has honored the merging of two lives, but now we turn to another enduring symbol of that commitment - the exchange of rings.
Where the blended whiskey represents time and transformation, the rings represent consistency. Worn daily, they are quiet reminders of the vows made here. Not just in celebration, but in the everyday.
Each ring is a circle. Whole, unbroken, and infinite. Just as Bethany and Jordan have chosen to blend their spirits, they now offer these rings to one another as a promise to stand side by side.
With strength, humor, and devotion, for all the days ahead.
Jordan, please place the ring on Bethany’s finger and repeat after me.
::Read the below waiting with call and response.::
I give you this ring,
As a symbol of my love and devotion.
As we join our lives together,
May we share laughter,
And face hardships side-by-side.
May we always have each other,
Today, tomorrow, and did all the days of our lives.
Bethany, please place the ring on Jordan's finger and repeat after me.

Bethany and Jordan, in blending your spirits, exchanging rings, and making these promises, you’ve not only joined your lives, but you’ve also built something entirely new.
What stands before us now is not just the union of two people, but the creation of a partnership rooted in love, trust, and choice. A relationship that honors both who you are as individuals, but who you are together.
Let this day serve as a reminder, not just of what you’ve found in each other, but of what you will continue to build. A life full of laughter, of shared strength, of quiet support, and of joy that deepens with time.
You are no longer walking separate paths, but are side by side, facing the world together. All of us here are honored to have witnessed the beginning of that journey.
By the power vested in me by the State of PA and American Marriage Ministries, I’m thrilled to pronounce you husband and wife!
You may now kiss the bride!
