Officiated by Steven John Springman at Betty Lou Cruise - Excellabella in Madison, Wisconsin on August 30th, 2025. Witnessed by Lucas Zeimet and Caitlin Ramquist.
"Fantastic couple and 4 beautiful children. First wedding I have officiated in Wisconsin. I have officiated 17 previous weddings, all in Florida as a Notary. Couple has been together for 13 years and have 4 children, all under 6 years of age. The youngest is just a few weeks old. Marriage and reception was on the Excellabella Yacht with 60-person capacity. A big thank you to Yacht captain and crew for their excellent handling of event. Standing at the tail end of the yacht while it lightly moves with waves was a bit of a challenge, but it went off perfectly without any issues. Catered food and drinks were perfect in every way. This was a great experience, and I feel blessed to have been chosen to officiate this wedding."
🎶 Begin
Guests are seated; music begins. Amanda walks down the aisle with her father (George). He gives her hand to Brandon, then takes his seat.
(Brandon and Amanda Face Officiant)
Family and friends, we gather today in the presence of God and one another to celebrate a moment of profound joy—the sacred union of Amanda and Brandon in holy matrimony. We rejoice with them and for them, as they begin a new chapter in a journey thirteen years in the making, one that has already blessed them with four beautiful children and countless shared memories. (Insert names? Walker (6), Leighton (3), Banks (20(months) and (Name TBD (3 weeks).
Today is not only a declaration of love, but also a covenant.
We also pause today to honor the loved ones who could not be here with us physically, those we have lost and those far away. Though unseen, their spirits are close. Their love has quietly shaped Amanda and Brandon’s story, and though absent, they are deeply present in the spirit of this day.
Let us pray.
Dear Heavenly Father, we gather here today in the spirit of love and joy to celebrate the union of Amanda and Brandon. We thank you for the gift of love that has brought them together and for the journey that lies ahead. Bless this sacred ceremony with your presence, fill their hearts with peace, and guide them with Your wisdom.
May their marriage be rooted in understanding, patience, and kindness. Please shower them with grace, strengthen their bond through life’s challenges, and let their love be a light to others.
We invite Your blessings now and forevermore. Amen
Amanda and Brandon, your love has endured both joy and trial over the past thirteen years, beginning on January 1, 2012. Today is not the start of your journey, but a sacred milestone—a moment marked by covenant and grace. As Christ loves the Church, may your love be sacrificial, forgiving, and ever full of grace.
Declaration of Intent
Amanda and Brandon, do you come here today of your own free will, with open hearts and no reservations, ready to give yourselves fully to one another in marriage?
If so, please say, we have. (Bride and Groom answer, “we have”)
Brandon, do you take Amanda to be your wife—
to love her deeply, comfort her in times of need, honor her, and stand by her
in sickness and in health, in joy and in sorrow,
remaining faithful to her all the days of your life?
Brandon: "I do."
Amanda, do you take Brandon to be your husband—
to love him deeply, comfort him in times of need, honor him, and stand by him
in sickness and in health, in joy and in sorrow,
remaining faithful to him all the days of your life?
Amanda: "I do."
💬 Personal Vows (3-4 minutes each)

💎 Exchange of Rings
Walker, may I have the rings please?
Brandon and Amanda’s son “Walker” steps forward and hands over the rings to the officiant.
These rings are more than symbols. They are circles—unbroken, eternal—mirroring the enduring nature of your love. May each glance at your ring be a quiet reminder of the vows you’ve spoken today, and the sacred gift of loving and being loved.
Brandon, place the ring on Amanda’s finger and repeat after me:
Amanda, I am giving you this ring
as a symbol of my love,
and that I am choosing to share
my life’s journey with you.
I give you this ring, with the pledge
to love you today, tomorrow, always, and forever.
