Good morning and welcome
Some might say Donna and Dan are already committed to each other, and I wouldn’t disagree. They live together they travel together and recently purchased a house together but today, they are proclaiming their commitment, not only to each other, but to ask the people closest to them.
They take the step not because they need to but because they want to.
Is Donna sister? I’m honored to be here as her Officiant and would like to take a moment to thank all of you for joining us. Donna and Dan appreciate your efforts to get here. I want you to know your presence makes this day all the more special. Well today is one of tremendous joy. We are mindful of the loved ones who could not be here. We feel their absence but we know that they are here in spirit and wishing Donna and Dan nothing but love.
Dan, do you take Donna to be your lawfully wedded wife to love her, honor her, and sickness and in health, and good times, and in bed, to have and to hold from this day forward as long as you both shall live?
I do

Traditionally, the status of a husband and wife is Mark by the exchange of rings. The rings or a visible, tangible symbol of your commitment to each other. Let them remind you that you are an unbreakable team. By wearing them, you will know that you are never alone, and that you will face lights, highs and lows together as equal partners.
Dan as he placed his ring on Donna‘s finger repeat after me. Hi Dan, promise before our family and friends, to respect and honor you. I promise to laugh with you enjoy and grieve with you in sorrow. I promise you this all the days of my life.
Donna, as he placed this ring on Dan‘s finger repeat after me, I Dona, promise before our family and friends, to respect and honor you. I promise to laugh with you enjoy gree with you and sorrow I promise you this all the days of my life.
Donna and Dan have chosen to celebrate their union in a unique way and it’s appropriate for being at the seashore it’s a sand ceremony. The ceremony involves each person pouring their own colored sand into a shared container. The mixture represents the blending of two lives, the glass jar will serve as a keepsake of this special day.
Donna Dan, you’ve made lifelong promises to each other with words and symbolize those words with a ring exchange. You’ve mixed grains of sand representing the coming together of two people. So now here, in the presence of loved ones and by the authority vested in me in the state of New Jersey, I now pronounce you, husband and wife.
You may kiss the bride!
