ABOUT THIS WEDDING
"This was actually a baptism of cousins Marissa, Sawyer, Elora, Blake and Hudson. We met the week prior to and had the best discussion sitting on my lawn. I shared the story of Jesus' baptism by John. The baptism took place in Blake and Hudson's creek, surrounded by family and friends. They wanted to say something about their love for their Meme and Papa and so we had written that together and they included their other grandparents. Grandpa Lon sang "Love Without End." I included a blurp for each child about God seeing them and blessing them when they were doing what they love, such as with their cousins. As Lon was singing, these fab young adults and I were pointing out who was crying and I said "It's because God is in the house." This was a really spirit filled awesome little celebration and I am humbled and awed that God used me for this. And I am thankful for these awesome friends in my life. Their love for each other is genuine! Their love for me is such a gift."
