Dearly Loved Ones and Honored Guests,

We are gathered here to join Payton Shays and Wes Markward in the spiritual union of marriage. I know that Payton's mother, Patty, cannot be with us physically on this happy occasion, but I know that she is here in your hearts and memories. She would be incredibly happy and beaming over her beautiful bride.

Marriage is a contract not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously, and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. Please remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home.

If there be anyone here who objects to this union, you may now stand up and march yourself right back the way you came in. This is not your day, but that of two people madly in love.
