"This was my first wedding to officiate. I had initial nerves for sure; but then I thought to myself, this couple believed in me enough to marry them, so why not believe in myself. That gave me confidence. It went great. I'm glad they wanted things simple. Venue was beautiful. My wife was proud. I definitely will continue to learn to tweak little nuances; like having the couple hold hands after putting rings on and making their declaration (it was kinda awkward just having them stand and look at each other). Overall, it was exciting and a different kind of honor"
