"It was a very easy and wonderful wedding. The rope binding and sand ceremony went well. I had the guests put prayer and good wishes stones in the bottom. After the ceremony I melted wax and put a wick in making it into a gorgeous candle. "
Dearly Beloved and Honored Guests,
We are gathered together here to join Lorrie Elise Quick and Brian Edward Repasch in the spiritual union of marriage.
Who supports Lorrie as she and Brian take the next step together?
ANS: Her family and I do.
This contract is not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously, and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. Please remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home.
Blessing: Lorrie and Brian come before us pledging their love and their hearts to one another. May they be true and loving, mat their hearts be filled with kindness and understanding, may they forgive each other's weaknesses, and laugh together often. May they be friends, companions, and partners, continuing to meet the joys and sorrows of life as one. As the years pass, and they move from one chapter in their life together to the next, may their love continue to deepen and mature, and may their home forever be a place of love and joy. AMEN

Lorrie, As you place this ring on Brian's finger, please repeat after me: Brian, with this ring, I thee wed. Wear it as a pledge of my love, and as a symbol of all we share.
Sand Ceremony: Lorrie and Brian, today you are making a commitment to share the rest of your lives with each other. Your relationship is symbolized by the pouring of these individual containers of sand; one, representing you, Lorrie, and all that you were, all that you are, and all that you will ever be, and the other representing you, Brian, and all that you were, all that you are, and all that you will ever be.
(couple pours the sand)
Minister: You are joined together today, not only in marriage, but as family. Just as these grains of sand can never be separated and poured again into their individual containers, so will your marriage and family be.
Prayer: Brian and Lorrie, your friends and family, all of us here, rejoice in your happiness and we know that this day marks only one of many special moments you will share in the days and years ahead. May both of you, committed to each other, keep this covenant which you have made. May you be a blessing and a comfort to each other, sharers of each other's joys, consolers of each other's sorrows, and helpers to each other during life's challenging moments. May you encourage each other in whatever you set out to achieve, May both of you, trusting each other, go forth fearlessly. May you not express and accept affection between yourselves, but also reach out with love to all people. We hope that the inspiration of this hour will not be forgotten. May you continue to love and cherish one another forever. And may you always find reasons to laugh, both with, and at, each other!
By the authority vested in me by American Marriage Ministries and the State of North Carolina I now pronounce you wife and husband!
